Green Tskaltubo Hotel

The location is peaceful and bright, and the park nearby is nice for an evening stroll. Rooms were clean and spacious, but the shower needs a curtain or wall to keep water away from the toilet. The beds had only a thin sheet, which didn’t feel very hygienic, and there was just one blanket for two mattresses. The place looks fancy, but the service wasn’t very good, even though the staff were friendly. Breakfast was frankly sad: no choice, no fruit, and no service. Half the buffet was empty at 8:30 and wasn’t refilled. Tables were left uncleared and uncleaned, and most salt and pepper shakers were empty. It’s cheaper to walk in than to book through booking.com.

A lovely spot for a summer vacation.

The hotel seemed very pleasant at first, but after a while that impression changed. It was definitely clean, and it’s in a quiet neighborhood by a park. The room had air conditioning, a refrigerator, and a hairdryer. The bathroom had no shower stall or screen, so water got everywhere, and the toilet lid kept falling off. The kettle was covered in limescale. There was coffee but no tea, and we could hear people talking in the next room through the wall. Dinner felt more like a cafeteria than a restaurant. The meal was buckwheat groats, two kinds of meat, soup, a slice of white cheese, a tomato, and a cucumber. The food tasted good, but the selection was limited. There were very few tables and nowhere to sit. Water was served with dinner, as were mixed drinks made from concentrate, which wasn’t a positive.
