Hotel Sabaduri Hills

The restaurant food was amazing, especially the burger, so compliments to the chef. It stays open until 21:30, and breakfast was both delicious and had everything. The hotel sits beside a small river, among hills and mountains covered in forest. The windows look out over the hills and river, and we left the second door open so we could hear the forest and flowing water while the heating was on. It was really nice and quiet. The hotel itself is clean, well maintained, and really nice, with super friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend!

Breakfast was underwhelming and didn't feel filling enough to start the day. The staff were friendly, but seemed worn out, probably because of poor working conditions, and it was noticeable. The location is great and the place has potential, but my stay was still disappointing. The room looked much cheaper in person than in the photos. The pool was in very poor shape, to the point where I think it would've been better not to have it at all. Definitely NOT recommended!

We left two days earlier than planned because we were so disappointed. We explained the reasons clearly to the manager, but they offered neither a refund nor another solution. The food was the biggest letdown. Breakfast was appalling: buckwheat, cold scrambled eggs, a burst sausage, and some jam for “dessert.” Dishes took a long time to be cleared, and coffee and water came in plastic cups. Lunch was just as tasteless, with most menu items unavailable. Coffee had to be carried from the first floor to the restaurant on the fourth and arrived 40 minutes late. The food was practically inedible, while the prices were unreasonably high. There were only two 0.5 liter bottles of drinking water in our room on the first day, and bottled water after that cost an outrageous amount. The pool was tiny and down in the basement, so it wasn't appealing. The room was also a mess of problems. The bathroom was extremely small, and without shower glass, using it soaked the whole room, toilet included. The sink and toilet didn't work properly, and ants were in the room and even on the bed. The balcony door frame was broken, so it wouldn't shut properly. There was no air conditioning, and with roads on both sides of the hotel, passing cars sent clouds of dust through the windows. The wooded mountains around the hotel were beautiful, though. I booked five days after being charmed by the photos on Booking.com, but the actual place was completely different. I wouldn't recommend staying here to anyone.

The location is good, but that doesn't make up for the problems. There was an odor in the bathroom, the renovation work was poor, and cleanliness was an issue. Staff restrictions also felt unreasonable, which affected our stay.
