Hotel Black Sea Shekvetili BSS

The staff were warm and attentive, and the food was really tasty, with prices that felt fair for the quality. Our room was spotless and stocked with everything we needed, from towels and toiletries to an iron and hair dryer. We also had a huge balcony looking out over the Black Sea and the hotel's enormous pool. Such a pleasant atmosphere.

The spa was a nice part of the stay. The seawater pools were warm and relaxing, and there were two saunas, one gentler and one hotter. The jacuzzi looked inviting, though its water could have been warmer and the jets stronger. Our massage was relaxing too, but fairly average. We found the resort calm and attractive, with a spacious, clean, comfortable room. Staff were friendly, professional, and helpful. We enjoyed our time here and thought it was good value. A few little details aside, it's a lovely place to unwind and we'd recommend it.

We loved the spa, especially my facial, which was awesome. The floating session was a letdown: the water was lukewarm, and after about an hour of waiting they still couldn't get it to the promised temperature. At least they reimbursed us fully in the end. We spent three nights at Paragraph resort in Shekvetili, Georgia, in rooms 535 and 533 on December 15,16,17. The rooms were spacious, the beds comfortable, and we looked out over the Black Sea. The four of us had a great stay and would all recommend the hotel. The fish tank, indoor and outdoor salt water pools, and views of the sea, mountains, and forest were beautiful. There were lots of activities for children, and we enjoyed walking through Musicians’ Park across the street. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of local organic specialties. We also celebrated two friends' birthdays while we were there. I ordered a cake and balloons, and the team at Yakami Oriental Fusion restaurant helped make the occasions memorable. The restaurant manager and our server, Mariam Glonti, stood out. At twenty, she's self-taught, speaks several languages like a native, knows the menu remarkably well, and was very attentive. She's also a skilled photographer and helped us take birthday pictures. The receptionists and managers were helpful and respectful too, including the trainee Dimitri. The service throughout was remarkable, and the hotel and its amenities are beautiful.

The room showers need attention because the drainage is poor and leaves puddles. We would also have liked suggestions for outdoor things to do in winter. That said, the hotel is beautiful inside and out, and the aquarium is striking and unusual. The pools are heated, and the whole complex is enclosed, including the water park and botanical garden, so it works well for winter visits and families. The food was excellent in the main dining room and the other restaurants.
