The room was clean and the staff were helpful, though the closet is tiny, as other reviews have mentioned. But the noise made my stay miserable. A restaurant about 150 meters away plays loud music until midnight, and you can feel the bass even with the windows shut. I had to leave early. I wouldn't choose this hotel for a quiet, sober break. When I booked, the owner said it was on a peaceful street where you'd only hear frogs. Instead, it's on an empty lot amid swamps and a planned construction site.

Nika was especially helpful and took care of everything. The staff were great, and I really liked the hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean, and it was quiet with no street noise. Cafes and all the activity are a short walk away, as is the beach. Many thanks to Nika.

I wanted to leave a review after my stay, and then I saw the one posted before mine. It's sad to see a lovely guesthouse's reputation take a hit 😞. I don't blame that reviewer, since people want different things, but maybe my experience can give someone a fuller picture. I found the accommodation on Booking.com, then got the host's number from a popular map app and messaged him on WhatsApp. Davit replied quickly, even in the middle of the night, and we sorted things out right away. Over our messages, I finally felt some of the Georgian hospitality I'd heard about, though I'd already spent a week in Georgia. I travel a lot and tend to be quite proactive, and his communication was one of the most pleasant and thorough I've had in the last couple of years. He understood my questions straight away, answered them clearly, and speaks excellent Russian. Before we arrived, they sent a full video of the apartment that covered all my questions. They also helped sort out payment, including transferring the money to a Russian Sberbank card at the regular exchange rate. The apartment was clean enough that it seemed you could eat off the floor, just as the reviews said. It's set back a little from the road, but the owner had told me honestly that the busy street was 70 meters away along a dirt road, and that's exactly what we found. That stretch helps cut down the noise. Georgian restaurants do tend to have loud music, even at good, expensive places in Batumi where there's a line and you book a week ahead. Sometimes the live singing and blaring music can be uncomfortable, and that's what the 70-meter buffer helps with. It wasn't a big issue for us, and we even managed it with a stroller. Everything in the apartment worked and was in good shape. No little hotel-type annoyances like a greasy kettle, broken door handle, busted closet door, or similar things. There were removable mosquito screens for the balcony doors, plus children's toys in the yard that you could borrow and bring back. I also worried at first that the closets wouldn't hold everything, but once I unpacked, it all fit. I didn't need to leave my suitcase open on the floor. Davit stayed available and helped with whatever came up, kindly and without showing any irritation or tiredness with us guests. They even gave us khachapuri with cheese, helped us find a bed after we'd rushed off to the seaside without a towel, and were flexible about early check-in and late check-out. There are shops, restaurants, stalls, and barbecue places just 70 meters from the apartment. I don't remember the exact distance to the sea, maybe around 200 meters and no more than 300. Walking there with two kids was fine for us, even with a stroller. I'm so grateful to Davit, his wonderful family, and the kind, welcoming staff at this guesthouse. I wish them success and lovely guests. I believe people this kind deserve kindness in return 🙌🏼💚

For the price, this is a great apartment. The shower was good and the staff were friendly. The beds felt a little too soft for me.
