We still think about this stay as one of the best parts of our trip. Our group of five was there for a ski touring trip in the winter of 2024, and even though some time has passed, it remains a highlight. The apartment was comfortable, spotless, and had what we needed after long days in the mountains. We also got to experience traditional singing in the evenings and a real taste of Georgian family life, which we'll remember for a long time. Angelina made organizing everything easy. She speaks perfect English and arranged things smoothly around our needs. The whole family made us feel so welcome, with a warmth and care that made us feel like honored guests. The homemade meals deserve special mention. Fresh, traditional food was served so generously, and it was without doubt the best food we ate anywhere in Georgia. We'd wholeheartedly recommend staying here in Ushguli, especially for adventurers and ski touring groups. Warm wishes from Switzerland!

The owners were extremely kind, and their dogs were very cute. That's why I'm giving this three stars instead of two. The room itself was pretty dirty, the walls were paper thin, and the shower pressure was so weak it was hard to wash. There was no soap at the sink, and no cold water either, so we burned ourselves trying to brush our teeth and wash our hands. At dinner, each person got only a third of a Kubdari, with very little meat. The hosts were friendly, but the place is VERY old and didn't feel worth the price. We paid 100 gel per person for dinner and breakfast, making it the most expensive place we stayed on the Mestia - Ushguli trek. We came because of all the great reviews, but ended up feeling ripped off.
It's an older guesthouse, but the place has plenty of history and charm. The family are locals who know the village well, and I loved chatting with them. The view from the outdoor area is breathtaking, and the homemade food was absolutely delicious. The hospitality was excellent, and I really enjoyed my stay. I'd recommend it to anyone wanting to immerse themselves in Ushguli. Big thanks to Angelina and her family ❤️
We had the best sleep of our hike in Georgia here, 10/10. The beds were really clean and comfortable, especially if you're tall. We can also absolutely recommend going horseback riding with them. Thanks for being so hospitable! :)
Right in the heart of Ushguli, with cozy rooms, gorgeous mountain views, and the warmest hosts. The homemade food was delicious too. A lovely local experience, highly recommend!
