It’s a traditional mountain village, so try the local cuisine. The location is beautiful, which is why people come here. Service can be slow, but the food is good and the price very reasonable.

The only thing we really enjoyed was the baklava. The barbecue wasn’t good, and we gave the whole portion to the dogs. I love dogs and have one at home, but trying to eat while they stared at us was really uncomfortable. The waitress said our food would take 20 minutes, 30 at most, but it arrived after 45. The Kubdari was very average, and both the Georgian salad and soup portions were small. Not the best experience, but I hope they work on these points.
