SADA Guesthouse

Sada, Tamara and Bobby made us feel right at home during our four unforgettable days. The rooms were cozy and the food delicious. The location is perfect for visiting the caves and using as a base for lovely walks. Thank you!

Sada was friendly and helpful, and the woman cooking here, whose name I didn't get, made some of the best Georgian food we had. It was delicious and affordable. We camped cheaply, used the toilets, and enjoyed sitting on the beautiful property. The spot is right by vardzia, just a two minute walk, and about 500m on foot from a local sulphur bath that cost 10 gel. We also swam in the river. The marshrutka drops you at the doorstep and picks you up there, too.

After a long drive from Batumi over the mountains, this was a cool place to stop. We had planned to camp, then found out they had rooms. They were clean and had en-suite bathrooms, and the staff were very friendly. We had a few beers on the terrace before heading in. It's well set up for an early morning walk around the historic sites, in a great location and area. We even plugged our fridge into the mains 240v to keep the beer cold. Cool bananas.

We loved staying here and wished we could have stayed longer. Sada is an amiable, very entertaining host, and the setting is beautiful and serene. A great way to get a true Gerogian experience.
