There’s a lovely fruit garden here, and in October the persimmon tree was laden with ripe fruit. Iveri even grows the grapes for his own wine on the property, and hearing him explain how he makes it was a warm, personal experience. The wine was wonderful. The house is clean and cared for, with spotless rooms and bathrooms. There are lots of comfortable spots around the yard, whether you want shade, a place to sunbathe, a swim in the pool, or a quiet corner to read. It’s set outside the city, which gives it a peaceful feel. Iveri can arrange a transfer or come pick you up, so the distance wasn’t an issue for us. Food worked out well for both of us. My mom enjoys barbecue, and hers was freshly grilled over a fire. I’m vegetarian and had delicious homemade dishes and salads. Meals had that comforting, home-cooked feel. Iveri was kind and attentive from the start, always ready to help with whatever we needed. When my mom wanted fresh fruit, he took us to the local market himself. He can also arrange tours and transfers. The whole stay felt like being at home, only quieter and more relaxing, and we really enjoyed switching off and just breathing. We loved our time here and would recommend it wholeheartedly.

There’s a pool, loungers, an outdoor shower, a garden with chickens, and a pleasant dining spot outside, so it worked well for a family with kids. The beds were comfortable, and the owners were especially attentive and friendly. I’ve never seen a bathroom kept this spotless. Just be aware that we were charged a little more for the food than the listed price.

The nearby waterfall was a beautiful surprise, just a short distance away. We also had delicious food with a real taste of local flavors. Iveri House made for a memorable stay, with warm hospitality that quickly made us feel at home. A lovely spot for a getaway with nature close by, and highly recommended.

Iveri and his family looked after us like we were part of their own. The place is peaceful, the people are lovely, and the homemade organic food was great. Really recommend it for families wanting a quiet break at a reasonable price.

Zarati waterfall is nearby, though getting there means a tough 30-minute walk along the road. It’s worth it for the fresh air, water, and stones. We tried to reach the waterfall’s starting point, but it wasn’t possible, so don’t waste time trying. The yard has lots of places to sit, the room was nice, and the scenery, service, wine, and food were all great. I liked the owners so much and want to come back. The bathroom is shared and the walls don’t block much sound. Thanks to the family for being so welcoming.
