Guest House Gamardjoba

We had to leave at 2 am, and the owners were hospitable and helpful. Thanks so much to this lovely family 🙂 I looked at a few guesthouses nearby, and this one offered the best value. The shared kitchen has panoramic windows overlooking the local landmark, the hydrogen sulfide baths, and the mosque. Our room was very clean and well kept, with good linens and a roomy shower. The heating can be adjusted, and there’s air conditioning. It’s next to the mosque, but it gets quiet after 10 pm. People on the neighboring street were partying until nearly morning.

The terrace has a stunning view, and the place is comfortable, clean, and pleasant. The bathroom is decent enough. You’re right in the old center of Tbilisi, next to the Botanical Garden. The people running the place are very kind and upbeat, and the owner can arrange tours. One small drawback: the owner is around all the time, which could make spending the whole day there a bit awkward. I’d definitely recommend it 💛

The rooms were clean. It was a bit difficult to communicate in English, though that seemed to be the case everywhere in Georgia. The owner was there waiting when we arrived, but there was no sign outside to identify the place. The driveway is a dead end, and there’s a no-entry sign at its entrance, which you have to ignore.
