Avoid booking here. I reserved months ahead and arrived tonight as a young woman travelling alone, only to be told they were overbooked and had no room for me. Looking through reviews now, it seems this happens often. The staff member said he was sending me to a “sister” hotel six minutes away and that a room was already booked for me there. He assured me it would be the same price. At the other hotel there was no booking under my name, though they did have a room available. They said they never had rooms at that price, so I paid an extra 130 cedis and also had to pay more for a taxi. Ridiculous service.

As a solo traveller, I had a really nice two-week holiday in Ghana here. The staff were kind and quick to respond when I needed something. There’s also a kitchen with a microwave, which was handy for warming up leftovers :). I’d definitely recommend it.

Whoever answers your calls has no manners and will drive potential customers away. If he's being paid, that's a mistake. The customer service is poor.

The rooms are spacious and clean, the utilities all worked properly, and the price at Aduk is affordable and worth it. It's close to the airport, Palace Square Mall, and Accra Mall. Emmanuel at reception was calm, respectful, and helpful, and called a taxi for me. I'd highly recommend Aduk to friends and family travelling to Ghana who need somewhere to stay.
