Chateau Towers Hotel Apartment

The biggest letdown for me was the lack of a full-length mirror. It was hard to check an outfit or do my makeup with decent lighting, so I took off two stars. There were also roaches in the kitchen. On the plus side, the unit had an iron and ironing board and air conditioning. We paid $88 a night. We spent 21 days here. The apartments are spacious, modern, nicely furnished, and comfortable. We looked at three units before choosing one, and check-in was easy. Winart at the front desk was attentive and very helpful. Our unit had two bathrooms, and I used the washing machine in one of them weekly. The shower pressure was okay, but the drainage was poor and smelled bad. We had to ask for some cooking items and towels. The grounds are pleasant, and there’s a nice pool, though we were too busy to use it. Bring an HDMI cord or firestick if you want to watch your own choices on TV. The location is central in Accra, Ghana, about three blocks from oxford Street, with transport, entertainment, and shopping close by. The residents weren’t very friendly, but the Ghanian staff were kind and helpful. I took a chance on the place because there were no recent reviews when we booked, and the last one was from 2019. There’s a market attached to the complex, which was handy for small food items, but it didn’t feel welcoming because everything was in Chinese and most labels were hard to understand. I could identify eggs, soda, and vegetables, but little else. The Chinese store clerks were rude and dismissive. The Ghanian workers helped us out, but after being treated poorly we chose to spend our money at the small local shops nearby instead. Check my TikTok for a video of our unit. The staff were really good, from the cleaners to the receptionist. Winnard deserves a special mention for his very good hospitality. I really loved the place and will remember it as one of the best places I’ve visited. Thanks for the service.

The architecture is very nice, and the location is strategic. It could be a top choice for an upscale apartment.
