Swimming here is only Ghc50.00, which feels very affordable for a 3-star hotel. The pool is peaceful and seems safe for people of all ages and races.

The welcome was warm, the place felt calm and pleasant, and the pool was clean. The drinks were nice too, and so was the food.

The staff at the ERATA HOTEL were incredibly kind to us. They even got up at 3 a.m. to make breakfast for 5 a.m., before our five-hour trip to Kumasi. They really didn't have to, and it meant we had a proper meal before setting off. We stayed a few days, and the service was the best part of the visit. The hotel is close to the international airport in Accra, Ghana, so it worked well as a place to rest and get our bearings before heading to the major cities. It's very old-fashioned, like it stopped in the 1960s, and pretty no-frills. Go in expecting little beyond running water. There are no elevators, so luggage has to go up the stairs, though someone at reception can usually help with heavier bags. It may not be five-star, but the staff's thoughtfulness is why I'm giving it five stars.
