The other staff were nice, and we had a good stay. Our spacious room had a little kitchen with working appliances, supper was good, and breakfast was included in the stay. Getting there was a hassle because the roads are bad and Google Maps kept sending us the wrong way. The laundry was worse. Our supposedly ironed clothes came back more wrinkled, and my white dress was dirty. The person handling it needs retraining. He even said the fabric wouldn’t straighten out. Why take a laundry job if you can’t get clothes smooth with an iron?

We only booked for one night at the last minute, but the kind, helpful service at Iyalian guest house left a great impression. It can be hard to find, though the effort is worth it. The pool was nice, and there was air conditioning and a hot shower. The beds could be softer, but that's Ghana for you. Thanks, Italian Guest House.

The room was cramped and expensive, with no running water, and although I was paying, they hadn’t bought internet. The chicken wasn’t properly cooked either. Staff were rude and entitled, and one person lied about their birthday to get money. The area is awful for a guest house. Don’t go, it was a horrible, overpriced experience.

The pool was small but clean and refreshing, and the swimming fee was reasonable compared with other places that have pools. Still, the loud, obnoxious DJ made it hard to talk with my friends. Finding the place tucked away in Teshie Nungua was a bit of a chore. It’s decent, but I don’t think I’ll go back.

I ordered chips and chicken, and I strongly believe the chicken was fresh. But the pool needs treatment ASAP. There was no sanitizer, soap, or toilet paper in the pool area guest washroom, and no COVID-19 precautions were being followed. That’s why I’m giving it two stars.
