Sandpark Place

The staff were courteous, welcoming, and always available when we needed something. Sorting out changes to our itinerary and travel plans was easy, and it felt like a home away from home. The rooms work for a short or long stay. They’re spacious, clean, and comfortable, with big beds, plenty of cupboards and drawers, and lovely bathrooms. Large windows make them bright and airy, with fans and air conditioning as well. There’s Wi-Fi in the nicely presented shared areas. A large shopping centre nearby is handy for last-minute shopping, especially for families and groups. The hotel is also close enough to major roads connecting to different parts of Accra and the coastal areas.

It was my second visit to Ghana, this time travelling solo, and I was pleasantly surprised by the high standard of the accommodation. My room was spacious and clean. The staff went the extra mile to help me get the most out of my holiday. When I left, I felt as if I was saying goodbye to family.

Auntie Esther made the stay special. She’s cheerful, so helpful, and full of fun ideas for sightseeing. Stella cooked delicious meals, and the rooms were cosy with ensuite bathrooms. I needed a holiday, and this was just right: quiet, with an uncrowded beach, a shopping mall, and a cinema nearby. A lovely retreat from the hustle and bustle.

The hospitality and attention to detail were way beyond what I expected, with 200% good vibes. Aunty Esther is just naturally kind, and you can feel it in how she runs this quaint, home-like place.
