Starlite lodge

Starlite feels homey, and the garden is lovely, with plenty of places to lounge and different rooms with tubs to choose from. It’s also surprisingly peaceful despite being on a busy road, and I felt safe there. We drove four hours to stay, and I’d come back, but the service needs attention. Prince was helpful before we arrived and when we got there. He sent pictures and details of the rooms, greeted us, and showed us around. The person who said he was the manager, “John,” though I’m not sure that was his name, was rude and didn’t help much. He spent the days watching futbul instead of looking after guests. When I asked questions to get familiar with the place and requested another towel, he said there was only one towel for two guests. I asked to speak to the owner or leave my number because it didn’t seem right to pay and have just one towel, no breakfast, poor AC, and staff like that. He said he’d worked there for three years. Hospitality matters. The staff need to be friendlier, and there should be a way to raise concerns. I’d still return for the nice, safe, peaceful setting, but the workers need training.
