The room was cool, but I wasn’t happy with the interruption. At exactly noon, the receptionist came knocking to say it was checkout time without checking the guest information for the different rooms. Guests already know the checkout time, so going door to door isn’t needed. At least call the room instead. There’s room to improve the service, though I’ll pass by again and see. Kudos 👍

The reception desk staff always answered calls and seemed willing to help with questions, but there’s no restaurant in the hotel or nearby. Getting there is difficult: the road is unpaved and dark at night. The neighborhood had no power, and the hotel depended on a small generator that they switched off from time to time. There’s no Wi-Fi, paid or free.

The stay was poor because some receptionists just wouldn’t speak politely. Being pregnant doesn’t mean someone should be arrogant. Please talk to some of your receptionists! Honestly, I’m not coming back.

The salt pond view is lovely. The room itself is basic, and the hot water wasn’t working while I was there. The manager wasn’t around to sort it out. I’d skip the cheapest room, though, for 30 cedis more you can get something much better.
