My brother came over from Germany and really likes the place. He found the room comfortable, neat, and fitted with an air conditioner that works well. He's an environmentalist and respects the place, so I feel it's a good option for anyone coming to stay.

The building looks impressive, but I didn't know it had been locked up when I visited. I couldn't get inside, so I can't say whether the rooms or anything else are good.

I had to ask for every basic item, from soap and towels to toilet paper. The staff didn't seem professional, and security was lax: the gate stayed open during the day, I never saw a guard on duty, and the receptionist seemed to be there only intermittently. The conversion rate on my booking was different, with no explanation. One assistant, George, kept asking for a tip until I gave him 20 cedis just to have some peace.

A simple inn for a night or two, with WiFi and air-conditioning at a very affordable price. The neighborhood isn't chic, but it's quiet. It's a one-storey building with bed and breakfast, and prices start at Ghs85.

A peaceful setting, and a nice spot to take some time out and rest.
