Magnolia Lodge

I ended up packing and leaving after my boyfriend and I argued about what happened. He’d paid for a room, we weren’t happy with it, and we asked to switch. The owner, Bismark, looked at me with disgust, talked down to me, and stayed angry and unfriendly simply because my boyfriend had paid. You run a guest house, so you know what can happen when a couple stays together. I felt so disrespected that I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Save your money and stay somewhere else.

They put me in a room I didn’t like, and when I asked for another one, they acted as though I couldn’t afford it. A man at reception looked at me with disgust and treated me like I was nothing. I didn’t know him at all, but the way he talked down to me made me lose interest in staying, so I left. I wouldn’t recommend this guest house to anyone expecting good hospitality. There wasn’t any to be found here.

Breakfast was included, and the room had WiFi and air conditioning. The receptionist was nice too. Just bring your own toothpaste, since they don’t provide it.

The rooms were neat, the surroundings friendly, and the housekeeping and customer service were really good. Room service was great as well. I’d recommend Magnolia Lodge as a place to stay when you’re in Ghana.
