Breezes Beach Resort

The beach and surrounding nature are wonderful, and the staff were polite and helpful. The rest of our stay was disappointing for what it cost. Our room was dirty when we arrived, and there was no water. There’s no phone in the rooms either. The pool water looked green and cloudy, while the menu was poor and breakfast choices were limited. The prices are far too high for the comfort and service provided.

The pool was lovely, the views were amazing, and the staff paid attention to guests. Breakfast was delicious, while lunch and dinner were decent, though I wished the menu had more variety. We had a clean room with a delightful, comfortable bed, good Wi-Fi, and constant electricity. There were several chips in the tiles, which was disappointing for a newer property. The shower had a minor drainage problem, probably from sand in the drain. It was easy enough to overlook, since we simply enjoyed our stay. I passed on the feedback, and they assured me they’d fix it. I think this is one of Ghana’s best beach resorts, and I’d keep visiting if they maintain the property and continue the high level of customer service. Bring snacks or necessities for between meals, as there’s no shop close by.

The ocean breeze and lovely view made the place feel special, and the bonfire at night was a real treat. Sitting in its warmth with the sea air was such a good feeling. The pool is one of the best in the area, clean and fun to swim in. I also enjoyed the generous breakfast platter, and lunch and dinner were good too. Service was excellent and really impressive. We had to change rooms because the AC in the first one wasn’t working properly, and the daytime heat was unbearable. The bathroom drain in the next room was also a problem and made showering difficult. I hope they’ve fixed those issues, because the place is gorgeous. I was there for a quick vacation and enjoyed my stay overall.

There isn’t a lot to do here besides relaxing, eating, swimming, and trying the watersports, so it suits a quiet break from everyday life. The large pool is the standout, well maintained and great for swimming or lounging. Kayaking and surfing are available for a bit more activity. The food was good overall, though some menu items weren’t available. The peaceful setting and comfortable, luxurious furnishings make Breezes Resort in Ekumfi a lovely place to unwind. The build quality is high, and while the rates are on the pricey side, the amenities and calm atmosphere made it feel worth the splurge. If you’re looking to recharge, it delivers.
