Being right by the beach and near Cape Coast Castle is a big plus, but the stay itself was very bare-bones. The room had no running water or towel, and the Wi-Fi didn't work. The property feels worn, and things like the infrastructure aren't dependable. Staff were kind and did try to help. There was a lot of noise at night. Around the resort, people regularly approached asking for money or offering tours, which could feel stressful if you're not used to it. The grounds felt safe to me, though women traveling alone might be less comfortable with men frequently coming into the area. For one night, it was passable. I'd choose another place if I wanted more comfort or reliability.

We paid £78 in advance through Expedia for three nights. Breakfast came with the room: eggs made to order, toast, and a hot drink. The staff were friendly and helpful, though nobody came to clean the room during our stay. The bed was very comfortable, and the room had air conditioning, but there was no way to set a temperature, just switch it on or off. It's a fairly small room with a little en suite and no toiletries. The shower only had cold water. There was no Wi-Fi. Power outlets were on one side of the bed and across the room. A basic, budget place right by the beach.

We felt really welcome there. The owner was so lovely, and we had a great time with Evan and his puppies. You can sit looking out at the ocean, and there's direct access to the beach.

We came back to Orange beach house resort last weekend, our second visit. Our NGO brings volunteers to schools and works on other projects, and this time we brought 13 people from the UK for the weekend of 23-25/8/24. We stayed two nights, and the whole experience was amazing. The rooms were clean, the team treated us with real kindness, and the service was excellent. The chef was fantastic, too. Our 17-year-old volunteers said this was their best Ghanaian experience so far in the country. We had lots of requests, and Evans and the staff helped us with everything. They also gave us the privacy to do our activities without interruptions, which we really appreciated. Everything went beyond what we expected. Thanks to Evan’s and the team. We hope to return! 🫶🏾🙏🏾 #FZY #TEN

Evans makes you feel so welcome, and the atmosphere is great. Also a perfect spot if you love dogs. My favorite place to stay in all of Cape Coast!
