I barely spent 10 minutes in the room, but there was no apology or refund when I left. I also couldn’t get the manager’s number after being told the manager wasn’t there. The receptionist did come up after I pointed out the problems and moved me to another room, but its shower was broken too. The first room had a broken bed frame, ants on the sheets, and a bathroom tap that ran yellow water. The shower didn’t work there either. Even the strong smell around the compound was off-putting as soon as I arrived. I doubt the owner or manager is focused on giving guests a good experience. I’d advise anyone looking for a decent place for a night or a long weekend to stay elsewhere. It’s an eyesore, to put it mildly. I’ve attached photos from my stay.

The rooms and the receptionist were nice, and I had a good time there. The outside might disappoint you a little when you first see it, though it’s not that bad. It’s a case of liking what’s inside more than the look of the place.

The rooms are clean and roomy, and you can look at the different types before you register. One small thing for tall guests: some beds have a rounded end, so you may want to choose a room with a regular rectangular bed. The food was so-so. Still, it’s a lovely place.

Coming from the US, I found the stay pretty interesting. There were only two outlets in my room, one used by the TV and the other by the fridge, so I ended up charging my phone in the bathroom. The front desk person didn’t seem to care whether I stayed there or in a shoebox. And the restaurant they advertised had only different rice dishes. The room itself was interesting too.

The workers are friendly and quick, and the rooms are spacious with soft beds and what you need for a comfortable, safe stay. It’s in a calm setting, at an affordable price, and the place is eco-friendly. You’ll find it in Koforidua main township, around 'Ministries', along the road to Old Estate from the Koforidua District Fire service yard. For comfort and safety, it feels like a good deal. Thanks.
