We went with friends for a picnic, and the scenery and natural surroundings were lovely. The lake view was therapeutic, and we found canopy walking, swimming, volleyball, and quad bikes. I’m glad we discovered this beautiful spot in time for our event, with God’s guidance. Nature like this should be protected and prioritized. The washrooms need attention, especially the men’s facilities, but it’s a beautiful landscape for adventure and meaningful time together. 🫶🏾

The drive along the lake road is rough and slow, but you get to look out at the trees and villages on the way. At the lodge, the staff are helpful and friendly, and ordering food in advance means it’s ready when you want to eat. The cabins and walls are decorated with art, giving the place its own charm. I spent the day by the warm lake, paddling or floating, then napping in a shaded hammock with a light breeze. It’s a peaceful natural hideaway among hills, trees, water, and fresh air, far from city traffic.

Food and drinks are good, though a little expensive at the moment. It’s a tiny resort with just a few bungalows, close to nature and nearby villages, so you need to enjoy that kind of setting. I walked through villages around the lake and saw cacao plants, bananas, and nature up close.

The road in is pretty bad, but otherwise this is a good escape from city life. It’s a peaceful, nature-friendly place to enjoy Lake Bosomtwe, with a lovely lake view and a refreshing feeling that a resort can’t give.

Lovely spot, good service and food, and cute dogs. Meals can be far too expensive, and the accommodation is somewhat pricey too. It’s very hard to get there, though other hotels have the same issue. Some individual menu items were way overpriced, like the Avocado Mango Salat, basically a small bowl of salad with dressing for 7€.
