The rooms are clean and it's a good value, with a great location. A solid alternative to the much pricier Lancaster.

Breakfast came with bread, eggs, and porridge, plus some fruit juice and a small fruit selection. When I was there in July, that included watermelon, pineapple, and mango. The tea and coffee were in packets. This is a quiet, quaint hotel in an old “colonial style,” the kind I'd read about as a young man. The rooms have an old-time feel, and there's a small swimming pool. The restaurant has both an open-air area with a bar and an enclosed, air-conditioned room.

I arrived expecting to stay, only to be told the place was fully booked and I should find somewhere else. I was shocked, since my booking had been made on 27th June and confirmed. The people handling reservations need to take customers a bit more seriously 😀.

The rooms are okay, though a little old. But some of the food servers have a really terrible attitude, especially one tall, fair-skinned man and a petite, fair-skinned woman. Their behavior was absolutely awful.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the hotel has a good location. There's also plenty of parking for several cars.
