A very nice hotel with a good, serene environment.

I spent one night there. The room was okay and very quiet, though an early morning announcement system in the area woke me up. The rooms need an upgrade. The hot water wasn't working, the showers had no pressure, and only two TV stations worked.

It's a good, economical place, but it's a bit far from downtown Kumasi. I had real trouble finding a taxi willing to take me from the University back to the hotel.

I haven't been there, so please ignore my star rating. I had to give one to write this review. I found this listing while searching for a resort in the area. Anyone with average knowledge of Kumasi can see that most, or maybe all, of the photos here were taken at Kumasi Zoo and Rattray Park.

The rooms stay tidy and well looked after, and the atmosphere is calm and relaxing. Prices are reasonable too.
