Wildwin Resort - Hostel

The property has plenty of grounds for outdoor activities, and the room was spacious with everything we needed, including a mini fridge, AC, TV and strong water pressure. We had a King size room and two standard rooms for our children. Some rooms sit a bit apart, so families who want to stay near each other should check with the resort first. We loved our stay at this calm oasis in Lake Bosomtwe. If you love nature, Wildwin resort is for you. We also formed a wonderful relationship with Patricia, the owner, and everyone involved at the resort.

The lakeside setting is lovely, and the resort may have been pretty years ago. At present, though, it feels run down and poorly maintained, almost like a dump. The price doesn't match the service at all. The staff seemed more interested in hanging around and playing loud music, then asking for “a gift” when we left. It's a shame, given how nice the location could be.

The view of the Lake is beautiful, and breakfast was good. Those were the only positives we could give as feedback. The room was unfortunately very dirty: the previous guest's dust bin was still full, and the floor, sink and toilet in the bathroom were dusty and dirty. Barely any water came out of the shower. There was no WiFi, and the room price was far too high for what you get. The people who gave us the room acted childishly, and no Manager was around. It must have been a nice place once, but not anymore.

The food was amazing, and they can prepare it to suit your taste. The staff and owner were both very friendly, and there are tents, a bonfire, and a large space for events and parties. A great place to enjoy with family and friends. Don't think about it, just come and visit 😃
