Art and Leisure-EB Hotel

Good value and a pleasant hotel. The access road is in rough shape and really needs work.

I loved the art and all the greenery. It was peaceful and felt like being at home. I'll come back whenever I'm in Takoradi.

Getting there is a challenge: the hotel is far from town, up a rough dirt track that takes a skilled driver, and once you arrive there's nothing nearby. It's very isolated, so it works well for a quiet break, but getting into town for business would be difficult. That's why I stayed just 1 night and found somewhere closer. The room itself was comfortable, with a wonderfully soft bed. It was also very dark, though. I arrived at night and struggled to find things in my luggage even with the light on. I had a few smaller concerns with the room and check-in too, which I put down to a new hotel's growing pains. Better organization and communication would help. If the road gets fixed, this could be a charming place.

We didn't let the poor road network worry us because Dr. Bentum and the staff made us so comfortable. Their warmth and selflessness were outstanding, and Dr. Bentum really embodies customer service. I expect the road will be sorted out in time as more guests come. I'd highly recommend staying here.
