Charlestina Beach Resort

We came for a family getaway and had a great time. The beach setting is splendid, the grounds are in perfect shape, and our rooms were nice and well kept. The kids especially loved the pool, playground, and toys. The staff were friendly. I can recommend it.

The beach out front was a lovely place to sit and watch local fishermen tending their nets and bringing in the day's catch. It also invites you to take a long walk. The resort itself was clean and well cared for, and our room was neat. The staff were a pleasure, always friendly, polite, and ready to help. On the drive in from the bustle of Accra, the road was bumpy, but taking it slowly let us enjoy the villages and scenery. The receptionist even texted ahead to ask what we wanted for dinner, and the meal was ready when we arrived. We left with a very happy impression. Thanks so much, Charlestina. We had a wonderful family holiday at Charlestina beach resort, and I hope we can come back soon. Our family of five stayed three days. The facilities were spotless and in good order, and tropical gardens brighten the grounds. The service was the best I experienced in Ghana, kind and consistently on point. It's also well placed for visits to Elmina and Cape Coast castles and Kakum National Park. We found it best to order meals ahead, and they always arrived at the agreed time. The fish and lobster are great choices. There's a very good pool and a lovely beach just a two-minute walk away.

We stayed in August '25, and everyone in my family enjoyed it, from my husband and our three children to their grandmother. The owners were lovely and attentive hosts, the team was wonderful, and the rooms felt fresh. There was a large selection of great food, too. I've lived and traveled in Ghana, and I'm glad we found this gem. It's peaceful, right on the beach, and the last 5min of the drive are off road. Highly recommend!
