Ko-Sa Beach is a great stretch of beach, with rocks shielding the water so you can swim without getting knocked around by big waves. The resort sits in striking contrast to the villages nearby, and in a good way it reminded me more of Thailand. There's a good restaurant on site, too. The road from the main road takes about ten minutes and is pretty rough. Even in the off season there were other guests, which I liked better than being the only ones there. I'd definitely recommend a visit.

We planned on two nights at Ko-sa beach resort and ended up staying much longer. The quiet shore, breeze, and view made it our favorite place in all of Ghana for relaxing, and the staff were lovely. It's easy to take day trips to elmina, cape coast, and kakum from here. One more tip, try the little restaurant next door for a change of eating spot! 😉

Ko-sa has changed a lot, and the service now feels impersonal. They don't seem to care about pleasing customers. We Skmos have been coming here for a long time. I'm diabetic and need diet drinks. The restaurant used to have them, but no longer does. Worse, the waiter insisted the soda was diet, apparently not realizing I have a health problem. The juices are also high in carbohydrates, which isn't recommended for diabetics. So on weekends, I'll only drink water.

The beach is kept really clean, and this is a great place for a family or solo vacation. The meals were excellent, and management and staff were absolutely helpful and provided excellent service. The on-site massage was amazing!

Really bad experience. We paid twice by mistake after being told the first payment hadn't gone through, and we were meant to get a refund. Nearly four months later, after three emails and four phone calls, we still haven't received the money. Manager Stephan kept saying he'd sort it out. Very disappointing.
