Stellar Lodge

This lodge is legit. I'm waiting here for my vessel to arrive, and I'm surprised it's much better than the hotel I stayed at in Accra. It's a walk-up style place, so expect plenty of stairs. There's a fitness room and swimming pool, and the rooms are nice, safe, and modern, with large-screen TVs. They also have a massage and spa room, though it's quite pricey. I'm sure you'll enjoy your stay.

The facilities were poor, with broken showers and a heater that didn’t work properly. Reception was bad, management gave contradictory information, and things felt unreliable. My family’s holiday was spoiled, so I moved to another hotel the next day.

The bar and grill is only okay, nothing special. If the food were not part of it, I’d rate this lower. The lodge is a separate issue: weekend bar music goes on until 2 a.m., and many rooms are above it, so don’t expect to sleep. When I arrived, I waited over two hours for a room, then found it outdated and the bathroom nasty. Reviews often focus mostly on the bar.

The staff are friendly, and Champs is about a five-minute drive from the local airport and Shoprite. Its apartments are nice enough, though not especially impressive.
