Hotel Marjorie 'Y'

The hotel staff are wonderful and deserve five stars, which makes the pool situation such a shame. I’ve been coming to swim here for years, but recently I’ve started going elsewhere because the pool has been dirty for some time. I’ve even left before. Today I stayed instead of leaving, but the water was filthy, cloudy and green, and I couldn’t see the bottom. I’m not sure whether management is responsible or the pool attendant isn’t qualified.

The room was only in average condition. I found a dirty glass left by previous guests and dirty pillows. It seemed the bedsheets might not be washed after every visitor. The air conditioner was dusty inside, and the water pressure was extremely low. Food options were very limited, the cooking was average, there wasn’t much European food, and service was below average. I wouldn’t recommend it much.

The prices are average, surprisingly, and I personally liked the service. The waiters are real professionals. It has almost all the facilities you could want. A great hotel.

The breakfast buffet exceeded our expectations, and we loved the pool. Our suite had a nice kitchenette and a clean room, while the staff were extremely helpful. The manager really keeps on top of things. We had an enjoyable weekend, and the price was very good for this level of hotel. We’ll definitely return.
