Picorna Hotel

I’m sorry, but I can’t recommend this place. We had to take it because our first-choice hotel was full, and we also had to pay for transport here. Staff tried to charge us more than their own price list, then said a standard room wasn’t available. Later we were put in a dirty, small room that wouldn’t lock, with no towels. The AC and hot water were both not working, and there was only room for one person. The whole hotel, including our room, smelled like fresh paint. Breakfast wasn’t available for our early checkout. Terrible experience.

It’s a lovely place, and I’d like to visit again, but only if the two men aren’t at reception anymore. They don’t know how to handle people and shouldn’t be working at a hotel. The lady servants provided excellent service, and the rooms are good and spacious. The location is quite good too.

The hotel feels very old. The rooms and furniture are long outdated, and the lobby still has magazines from 2008. The bathroom was really bad, with only cold water. The location is good, though, near the center on a busy street. The staff were very nice and polite, like all people of Ghana.

A relaxing spot for visitors, and a good place to unwind.
