I've been staying here on and off for about a year. It's a lovely building in a handy spot, close to Eastern beach and the Gibraltar casemates, with good neighbours. Residents can use the gym, laundrette and common room, which has a TV, pool table, games and books.
Room 806 had a fantastic view of the Rock, and the whole stay was a pleasure. Peter was quick to reply whenever we had a question. The room was spotless, with fresh towels and sheets, and the bed was really comfortable. We also had everything we needed in the kitchen. The location made getting around easy, with the sights nearby and both the airport and Main Street about a 15-minute walk away. We’d happily recommend Peter’s place for a short visit to Gibraltar.
Parking is the main drawback if you're driving. There isn't much nearby, and the only public garage, about 400 meters away, is being converted into apartments. The studio itself is small, nice and reasonably priced.
Working in Gibraltar, I’d recommend a flat like this to avoid the border crossing, which can get pretty nerve-racking at times. It’s a modern place with a high standard and all the amenities, looking out toward the Mediterranean Sea, the beach and the Maui Surfing Spot, in the shadow of the famous Rock of Gibraltar. The view of the Rock was a nice bonus. Our studio was clean and quiet at night, and close to pretty much everything. Gibraltar is small, so we could walk everywhere. We had a really good three-night stay.
