The building was in such a poor state when I came to check in that I was taken aback. The owner should close the hotel and do the work needed to welcome guests with dignity. When it’s ready to reopen, hold an opening party and invite the press. After that, I hope things go well for the hotel. I hope the owner can forgive me for being so critical. Yours sincerely.

I really liked the place. The beach is right next to it, and there’s also a small mosque and a tennis court.

All the services still seem to be running, but it looks like the hotel has lost a lot of customers. Hotel Mariador has changed since my last visit five years ago, and it’s going downhill. They should do something about it.

It’s fine for a 3 star hotel, though it doesn’t look very modern. The rooms seem a bit old compared with the security facilities. The food isn’t bad.
