Almуros Beach Resort and Spa

The suite was luxurious and roomy enough for two adults and our two children, and we enjoyed all the facilities at this beautiful resort. The food was great too. It’s the first place we’ve stayed where we’ve wanted to come back to the same resort. The animation team was a big part of our stay. Eros, thank you for your charisma and for showing our youngest daughter so much affection. Pres, you were a kind, polite person and a lovely friend. You both have a great Latin spirit, even though you’re not Latin. Alex, thanks for organizing the daily darts and ping pong, and the volleyball matches with Pres. We had a great time. Martin, your energy and positive attitude were wonderful. And to the ladies on the team, thank you for looking after our daughters, especially during the creative mornings, and for putting on such fun mini-discos in the evenings. Everyone else was kind and courteous as well, from the facility staff and receptionists to the spa team, restaurant servers and chefs. Finally, Krasimir and your lovely wife, thank you for organizing such a fantastic program and treating your staff so well. They clearly see you as a friend as much as a boss. We miss you all already and will definitely return to Almyros Beach Resort. A 10 out of 10 for us.

The beach nearby is lovely, and at different times of day we could always find a free sunbed. Nobody was reserving them either. Our room was clean and kept in good shape, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout. We had an enjoyable stay, though I wouldn't call this a five-star hotel. The food let us down. The meat was tough, the pasta bland, and the water dispenser was often empty. The restaurant also felt too small for the number of guests. Some drinks were excluded from the all-inclusive package, including classic cocktails like mojitos and even basic mocktails such as coconut-pineapple, which felt misleading. Pool snacks ran from 3 to 5 pm, but the hot dogs were gone by 4:20. We could hear everything through the poorly insulated walls, and the neighbours next door woke us each morning. The hotel-arranged transport back to the airport was almost 30 minutes late.

The pool area was great, and Vasilis at the pool bar made the place fun. He mixed the best cocktails. We also loved the activities from the animation team, including yoga, stretching and beach volleyball. The kids' club kept children busy all day, while the mini disco and fire show in the evening were a blast. Our room was really comfortable, the beach was clean with lovely sunbeds, and the food was fresh and tasty. I was already looking forward to the next meal each time. One unexpected highlight was a Ferrari meet at the hotel, where we got free rides. It made our time in Greece even more special. I’d recommend it for all ages and can’t wait to come back next year.

There was lots of room by the pools and on the beach, with plenty of sunbeds. The sandy shore has a few small rocks, and the views and sunsets are lovely. It’s a family-friendly place and a great choice for a holiday. The hotel sits right by the beach. Our room was tidy and cleaned daily, the food was fantastic with lots of options, and the friendly staff were always ready to help with a smile. For more details, check the hotel website.
