Satori Boutique Hotel

Maria, the owner, was incredibly polite and welcoming, and Cristina did a fantastic job cleaning our room every day. The place is wonderfully peaceful, with a beautiful garden full of luxurious flowers, and the beach is just a two-minute, 80 m walk away. Our room was new and very clean, with modern furniture and a stylish bathroom. The air conditioning worked excellently, and we also had a hairdryer, humidifier and safe. We had a fabulous stay. If we come back to Corfu, this is where we’ll stay.

The location was handy, with restaurants, supermarkets and travel agencies nearby, and the beach just 30 meters away. Even so, the hotel itself was quiet and had a nice pool. Our family room was attractively decorated and everything was clean and very well maintained. Maria and her husband, along with Cristina, were lovely and always willing to help. We had a great stay at the Satori hotel, a wonderful find that I highly recommend.

The rooms are spacious and have everything a couple or family could need, even for a longer holiday. There’s private parking, which is a real plus since you don’t have to leave the car on the street. The hotel is quiet, with a neat garden and pool, and only a couple of minutes from the beach. It’s great for couples and kids, and the staff are amazing. Cleanliness is on another level, absolutely spotless. I didn’t get to meet Ms. Maria, but communication was great. She was always available with information and quick booking. 10 out of 10.

The place has a lot of potential, but it was managed so poorly that I found it very sad. It’s quite a stretch to call it a “boutique hotel,” and I hope things improve over time. Satori is really a room rental, since there’s no breakfast. The rooms are spacious, clean and fully renovated, with a pleasant garden and pool area, and the beach is very close. But communication with Maria could have been smoother: a couple of times she forgot to reply to my messages before we arrived. I also found the staff rude and incompetent. Cristina, who cleaned our room, couldn’t handle any of our basic requests. We paid 10 euros a day for a cot that came with no mattress. Only after I messaged Maria two days later did they bring a homemade fix, and it was extremely uncomfortable, as the pictures show. My three-year-old naps around 2 pm, so I asked for the room to be cleaned in the morning or at another time. I was told that was “impossible” because the cleaning schedule kept changing. On our last day, nobody had told us checkout was at noon. I’d prepared lunch, then found all the food I’d made thrown in the trash at 12. Maria didn’t offer another meal, so we had to eat at a restaurant and pay again ourselves.
