Villa Tasos

The host was so friendly and ready to help with anything we needed, and the beach is just a 5-minute walk away. We'd gladly return! We loved the pool. It was clean and cosy, with comfortable loungers where we could sit in the sun or shade. Our spacious room had a nice terrace with a table for breakfast each morning. There were lots of mirrors, good lighting, and new air conditioning that worked perfectly. The kitchen had all the utensils we needed to cook, even a corkscrew, plus a kettle and stove. Over our one-week stay the room was cleaned three times, more than we expected and much appreciated. They even washed our dishes during cleaning. Huge thanks for that!

The pool surrounded by exotic plants was beautiful, and made me feel like I was in the middle of a jungle. The Villa Tasos staff were awesome and helpful. It's a great location, about 3 minutes from both the beach and the town centre and restaurants. My apartment was decent, with a separate kitchen, bathroom and bedroom, plus a balcony. The price was cheap compared with nearby apartments. I really enjoyed staying here and will definitely come back. Highly recommend the Villa Tasos.

If you're looking for luxury, you'd want a 4- or 5-star hotel. For a peaceful, hassle-free holiday, though, I highly recommend Villa Tasos in the village of Aharavi, especially for older guests and families with children. It's 3-star apartment accommodation with affordable prices, and only a 3-minute walk from Aharavi Beach. The beach is clean and well maintained, with one pebbly part and a larger sandy stretch, plus a lifeguard hut staffed during the season. Our apartment was spacious, nicely arranged, and had the basic things you need on holiday. The beds were very comfortable, and the linen and towels were clean. Towels were provided every other day. There was also a roomy balcony with a table and chairs. The pool was regularly maintained and clean, and suitable for daily use. The yard is nicely laid out with tables guests can use for gatherings during the day or evening. For the price and service, the apartment was excellent. Our hosts, the Tasos family, were kind, helpful, and always available, whether we needed assistance, an intervention, or suggestions for places to visit, restaurants to try, or someone to contact.

The owner is really nice and chatty, and the pool is clean with plenty of sunbeds. The rooms are clean and well kept, though they could do with some renovation. It's very well located close to the sea. I recommend it.
