A little gem on the island. The hosts helped make it a really relaxing break from work life, and we'll most certainly return. Rooms were cleaned daily. The snacks and lunches were as good as anywhere else, especially the chicken sandwiches.

Nikos and Kristena were amazing, so welcoming and friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. We also got to meet Rusty, an adorable puppy who was 7 1/2 weeks old. What wonderful family-run apartments. We'd happily stay again.

The sea and view were amazing, with the beach about 100 yards away. You're near the harbour, so getting a boat is easy, and there are loads of shops, restaurants and places to hire a car or moped close by. The staff were very friendly and everything was very clean. You get what you pay for. A little robot cleans the pool every day, and the cleaner is thorough. I'll stay here again.

The people were very friendly, but unfortunately the place wasn't for us. Our room was damp, dated and poorly equipped, and the road noise was unbearable, so we left after one night. The pool was green and cloudy for some reason, though someone said it had been clear the day before.

We refused to stay because the place looked nothing like the pictures online. They'd assigned us a room in the separate “annexe,” away from the main apartments. It was dark, dirty and very poor quality, with mouldy curtains and a rotten wooden veranda. The grounds were completely overgrown, with broken machinery, old appliances, pipes and wiring scattered around. At the front, washing was hanging on a line and old building materials had been dumped.
