Lak Nirvana's Homes

The location was the one drawback for me. There’s a Lidl just down the street, and you can walk to other shops and restaurants, but they aren’t especially convenient. The nearest Metro is about half a mile away, though several nearby bus routes can take you to it or to the suburban railway station. The surrounding businesses include gas stations and car washes, and traffic noise carries on both day and night. It didn’t feel unsafe, though, and the building and apartment felt secure. We stayed four nights in October in a two-bedroom apartment at Lak Nirvanas Homes. It was clean, spacious, and pleasant, with two large balconies and a big open kitchen, dining, and living area. The kitchen had a refrigerator, stove, coffee press, and basic cookware, dinnerware, and utensils, but no microwave. There’s an elevator, plus a spiral staircase that’s a little narrow and steep. The attached restaurant, Reception, was very good and served food and coffee throughout the day, with delivery to the room. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

The room felt modern, spotless, and relaxing, and the staff were really kind and helpful. Getting here from the city centre or airport was easy enough. From the airport, you can take the X93 city bus. I highly recommend staying here in Athens.

We only spent one night here, but would gladly return if we travel to Athens again. The apartments are comfortable and modern, and reception was lovely. Staff were friendly and quick to respond.

We stayed in July 2016 in the apartment at the top of the building. It opened onto a large, well-equipped terrace with a table and chairs for outdoor meals. Inside, it was clean and modern, with a well-equipped kitchen, two bathrooms, and a very spacious living room. It’s outside the city centre, about 20 minutes to the subway and then another 15 minutes to the centre.
