Athens Color Cube Luxury Apartments

For 5 nights, the offer said coffee, tea, and drinking water were provided, but we got just 2 coffee capsules for 2 people. The water seemed to be from the tap and tasted strongly of chlorine, so even brushing our teeth was unpleasant, never mind drinking it. A bottle of water costs 0.2€, so they should provide it or leave out that misleading information. There was no cleaning during the whole week and no towel exchange. The ventilation was poor, and after 3 days the towels smelled terrible. I asked for fresh ones and got no response or towels. They also didn't say before booking that hot water requires pressing a button 20 mins in advance, which meant losing sleep to get up earlier. About the reply: I have screenshots showing the mention of bottled water, and you never answered my towel request. The message about the hot water issue came after payment. Please don't lie, it's simply not nice.

The rooms are very nice, and check-in was simple without having to contact anyone. The hotel is beautifully placed in the heart of the city, with easy access to all the places we wanted to go.

The host was professional and stayed in touch, checking that everything was up to standard. The place is secure and sparkling clean, with fully renovated rooms and well-planned comforts and amenities. Everything is within walking distance. I stayed only two nights, but it would work for a longer stay too. My one suggestion is to use gas heating for the water heater, so guests don't have to wait 30’ for a shower. Otherwise, a perfect place to stay.

We weren't told ahead of time that construction for a new restaurant was happening right outside the apartment. It started around 6:30am, including on the weekend, and we received no compensation. The windows don't block sound, so street noise comes right in. There's also a really loud buzzing from the door mechanism when you open it. The apartment is in a great spot, close to attractions and good restaurants and cafes, and the staff were super helpful. But the mattress felt too soft, and I didn't like the sheets or blankets.
