We could not sleep at Moods Apartment, and we would never stay there again. The balcony is directly above the 6 Dogs Club, which has a large outdoor area about 10 metres away. It was open every day from noon until 2:30 AM, and on weekends until 6 AM. Even with the windows shut, the bass came through the walls and kept us awake all night. We’re used to noise and know Athens isn’t a quiet city, but the sound here made rest impossible. You definitely won’t get sleep, even with earplugs. The landlord was rude and completely unaccommodating. Our complaints were ignored, and we received no support or compensation. The booking agency was told the owner had already been generous by letting us leave our luggage unsecured in the hallway for three hours when departing. The attitude seemed to be “pay and forget.” Never again.

We stayed six days and were happy with the place overall. The location is great, the bed is big and comfortable, there’s a kitchen, Wi-Fi, two lifts, and the service was polite and friendly. The manager answered quickly and helped when we had questions. Our shower water was running very slowly, but after I contacted her, she called a mechanic who fixed it the next day. The TV was a little broken, though still watchable. There’s a nice view of the Acropolis, but the bar right below the hotel plays loud music. Earplugs are provided, though that may not work for everyone. We’d also heard about thefts, so we hid our belongings. The balcony door seemed very weak and possibly easy to break into within seconds. We saw one camera, but I’d recommend securing the balcony doors better, especially the lock. With those drawbacks, it was still a really good place, so I’m giving it four stars.

The view is gorgeous, and the room is beautiful, with everything you might need for a short or longer stay. It was a great spot for business or a holiday, right by the metro and well placed for sightseeing and amazing restaurants. It also gave us a bit of luxury while on holiday.
