Periscope Hotel

We booked the Penthouse Suite at Periscope Hotel in Athens, part of the Marriott Design Hotels Collection, and it was unforgettable. The private rooftop terrace was the highlight. From the jacuzzi, there's a full panoramic view of Athens and the Acropolis, spectacular at any time of day. The suite itself is modern, beautiful, quiet, and comfortable, with lots of natural light. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the shower huge, and all the details felt right. Diana at the front desk was gracious and kind, and helped with dinner reservations, taxis, and anything else we needed. The service throughout was warm, personal, and professional. We were only there one night, but it felt special. There's also a small 24-hour buffet lounge with snacks, coffee, and drinks, which made things easy. The hotel feels thoughtfully run and cared for throughout. If you're visiting Athens and want something extraordinary, book the Penthouse at Periscope Hotel. Having your own jacuzzi overlooking the Acropolis is a view you'll remember.

We ended up here for one night after our flight was cancelled, and the friendly staff made a great impression. The place is in a quiet neighborhood, with clean, spacious rooms and a simple but chic interior. The area is a little hilly, so it might be tricky for anyone with walking difficulties. A pleasant surprise, and I'd happily stay again.

The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the hotel is cozy and well located. I loved that they put out the breakfast leftovers for guests after breakfast ended. Less food waste, and it saved me when I got back hungry from the airport!

Nikos gave us a warm welcome, and the staff were great. The rooms were nice, too. There's a pleasant lounge with snacks available all day, plus luggage storage. We had a Superior room and a Junior Suite, which had a great balcony.
