JAN.30 - FEB.2, Room2, 1st floor, Bed6 The metro is right outside Athens Backpackers Hostel, which made it easy to reach other sights like the National Archeological Museum and get to the airport. The location is great, close to the Acropolis and attractions including Athens Parliament Building and Olympics Stadium. Nothing to complain about. Thanks, Athens Backpackers Hostel.

The rooftop view of the Acropolis is completely unobstructed, a magical backdrop for a beer at night. The location is hard to beat: five minutes from the Acropolis, right beside the Metro, and steps into Plaka. Syntagma is one stop away, so getting to and from the airport is easy. Breakfast is free and generous, with fruit, cereal, cold cuts, cheese, and bread. The staff are warm and friendly, although they struggled to get the heating in my room under control. Rooms are compact and basic, with bedding included. The curtains block the light well and each capsule feels private. A simple chair in the room would make getting ready and putting on shoes easier.

We met friends here for drinks and didn’t stay overnight, but the lobby and bar looked very nice. The WC was clean and had toilet seats. Hope was incredibly sweet and helpful, great customer service.

I’ve stayed here for four nights and everything worked for me. The room and toilet were clean, bedding was provided, and breakfast was enough. It’s very close to the metro and a 5-15 minute walk to all the sights. Whenever I’m in Athens, I book a bed here.

A brilliant hostel with comfortable beds and a great breakfast. The staff were super helpful, letting me store my bike in the back garden and arranging a taxi to the airport. The rooftop bar at sunset, with views of the Acropolis, is amazing.
