Semiramis Guesthouse

Hotel Semiramis has a relaxed, homely feel, with spotless, comfortable rooms full of charm. The family running it welcomed us with genuine Greek hospitality, which made the visit memorable. It’s in a quiet part of Adamas, only a short walk from the port, shops, and restaurants. A lovely option for experiencing Milos with the care of a local family.

Semiramis Hotel is in a really handy spot, close to restaurants, bars, shops, vehicle rentals, beaches, and the port. The room had been renovated with quality materials, the bed was comfortable, and the AC worked like a charm. I had an awesome stay and would absolutely come back if I return to Milos.

The room and bathroom were tiny, which was the main disappointment. The bathroom was so cramped that washing my face without splashing water onto the floor was difficult. Given this was the most expensive hotel on my Greek islands trip, the amount of space didn’t feel worth the price. The location, though, was hard to beat: just a three-minute walk from the port, very convenient for ferry arrivals, and right by the restaurants and nightlife. Staff were flexible too. We missed breakfast on three of our four mornings because of early excursions, and they kindly refunded the cost of those breakfasts. If room size isn’t a concern and location comes first, it’s a solid choice. Otherwise, I’d look at other options.

The room had a sweet little balcony that was handy for relaxing and drying laundry, and it was cleaned every day. The hotel is in a great spot for reaching the port, restaurants, bars, and cafes. Staff were really friendly and gave us helpful tips and recommendations for our visit. We loved our stay and would choose it again when we’re back in Milos.
