Soulis Studios

The shower pressure was the main downside. It was so weak that washing my hair properly was difficult. Apart from that, no complaints. For the price, we loved the place, £194 for 3 nights. The room had an amazing balcony and view, working air con, a mini fridge, plates and cutlery, and they cleaned while we were out. The room, bathroom, and sheets were clean, and they provided shower gel and shampoo. A car even drove us to the property, which is about a 10-minute walk from the port and main bus station and 5 minutes from a supermarket (SMART). It was a quiet area with no car noise.

Nothing about the place matched the booking description. The service was nonexistent too: we reached out once and got no reply. The front window beside the entrance wouldn't shut, so it seemed easy for someone to break in. Inside, the studio felt extremely old. The shower leaked, had no pressure, and left water pooled on the floor because it wouldn't drain properly. The fridge made an awful noise, and even had leftovers from previous guests.

The island was so beautiful that we hardly spent time in the apartment. The bed felt old and squeaked with even the slightest movement. The worst part, though, was the shower: barely more than a dripping tap, with water that wouldn't drain even at that low flow.

For what we paid, the room was worth it. The balcony had an amazing view, and the port was only about a 10-minute walk away. Our stay was okay.
