You’re just a minute or two on foot from the beach, so the location is fantastic. The host was very kind and came to help straight away when I needed a taxi to another town. I’d recommend staying here and would come back.

The only drawback is that it’s a bit of a walk to the centre, though the waterfront route makes it an easy enough walk. The rooms are a good size, clean, and set among lush greenery that seems to help keep them cool.

The location was convenient, and the hotel’s luxurious amenities made for a delightful escape from the ordinary. During my six-day stay, the staff were warm and efficient from the moment I arrived, and went out of their way to meet requests promptly and with a smile. My room was meticulously clean and beautifully decorated, a comfortable place to unwind after a day out. The restaurant’s food was a real pleasure, and I looked forward to each meal. I left with lovely memories.

We only stayed one night before catching the ferry to the mainland in the morning, as I imagine many guests do. The woman running the place was charming and welcoming. It’s a quirky set of apartments one road back from the beach. The rooms feel dated and haven’t been updated in a while, but they were clean and had what we needed, including a kettle and kitchenette. Since we left before the cooked breakfast was served, they left a selection of cold pies and meats in our room. I’d go back.
