We've just got home from our third visit to Axos, and we're already looking forward to coming back next year. We wouldn't consider staying anywhere else in Crete. The staff are outstanding, friendly and professional, and always ready to help. Their genuine care is why so many guests return. The rooms are very clean and kept to a high standard. There's a lovely pool, and the bar has a relaxed but lively feel with friendly service. Breakfast is excellent. The area has everything we need, including a great choice of tavernas, the beach, a supermarket, local gift shops, and an excellent bus service that gets you to rethymnon in about 20 minutes.

The staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile, and the hotel bar was a highlight with a great atmosphere. We even caught a live music night there one evening, which made the stay feel extra special. The location is ideal, just a short walk from the sea. Our room was cozy, clean, and comfortable, breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the private pool was spotless and a lovely place to unwind. We had an amazing stay, and the hotel exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend it for comfort, quality, and great vibes!

The breakfast was fresh and tasty, and we even got live music in the bar now and then, including a great rock band. We stayed for 10 days with the kids and found the hotel very family-friendly. The staff were polite, warm, and helpful. Our room was spotless, cleaned daily, and the towels were changed every day. I’d happily recommend it.

Being about 200m from the beach and surrounded by restaurants and shops was a real plus. We were there as a family in August 2021, and the staff were consistently lovely and attentive. For a 3-star hotel, it delivered what you’d expect. The furniture and bathrooms aren’t new, but they’re clean and well kept, which matters most to me. Breakfast had different choices each morning, and over our 10 days there were always full plates and bottles, even when we came down later. We also liked the pool and bar, especially the nice music in the evenings.
