Dora and her team made us feel at home all week. They were some of the warmest, friendliest, most genuine people we’ve met. We also enjoyed the breakfast, especially the eggs and coffee, and the small buffet had tasty options. The pool area never felt crowded, and there were enough sun loungers. Shops, restaurants, and a very good bakery are all close by. It would be even nicer with better soundproofing against the road noise and some relaxing music in the common areas. We had a great holiday and would happily come back. Thanks, Dora and the Villa Oliva team!

The staff were wonderful, especially Anna, who gave us lots of ideas for places to eat and visit. Our room was lovely and had everything we needed, and the beach and restaurants were an easy walk away. We had an amazing week at Grecotel Villa Olivia and look forward to staying again.

The beach is just across the road, and there are places to eat nearby. Walking about 1.5km towards Rethymno takes you to a busier area with more dining options. We loved how tucked away the pool was at the back of the property, unlike many places we passed along the main road. There was no overcrowding, and the Grecotel standards were clear. Dora, Anna, Manos, and Dimo were especially welcoming and knew the local area well. A real gem.

The staff were so kind and keen to make sure we were comfortable. The hotel was nicely refurbished, had a pool, and was very close to the beach.
