Hara made us feel happy from the moment we arrived. She welcomed us so warmly at reception and shared brilliant suggestions for places to eat and explore. She mentioned that her name means “happy,” which felt just right after meeting her. Atheras itself was a lovely, cozy place, only a few meters from Evdilos port. I’d happily stay there again.

That bed was so good we’re hoping to find one for our home in Europe. The room was spotless, the double bed was perfect, and the pool area was lovely too. The woman at the lobby was really kind and showed us a shortcut for parking near the port. After a not-so-clean room in Raches, this stay was a real treat. We’ll definitely come back, and stay longer next time. Wish we’d taken a photo of the pool!

Aginq shared her enthusiasm for Ikaria and gave us genuinely useful advice. The room was great, the price was excellent, and it made a wonderful base for exploring the island. Highly recommended.

Breakfast was a highlight, with tomatoes, feta and kalamata olives, for 9 euros per person, by the way. The hotel is simple, clean, cozy and just right, and the staff are very friendly. I really liked it and would definitely return.

This was my dream vacation on my favorite island, and the place to stay was accessible. The pool and breakfast were accessible too, which matters a lot. The rooms are lovely and clean, and the staff are happy to answer all kinds of questions. Please take me back.
