Princess Hotel

The hotel was in a great spot for us: the bars and restaurants are right outside, and the beach is about a 10-minute walk. My wife, son, his girlfriend and I all enjoyed our 10 nights and would happily stay here again when we’re back in Tsilivi. We were met as soon as our transfer dropped us off and got two ground-floor rooms overlooking the pool. They’re on the small side, but clean and tidy. Towels were refreshed nearly every day, and the bedsheets were changed twice during our stay. The staff were friendly and worked hard to make the holiday a good one. The sunbeds were comfortable, and we never struggled to find one. The bar drinks were good, and the girls especially liked the cocktails. Everywhere was being cleaned regularly, so the whole place felt well kept.

We only stopped in for drinks, but the owner and staff made us feel welcome. The cocktails were fabulous and the service was excellent. We stayed here years ago and had a fantastic time then too. It’s a lovely, warm and friendly place, definitely worth visiting.

The location works well for evenings, and the walk to the beach takes about 10 minutes. Most of the staff were welcoming, but Peter, who works behind the bar, was the reason this wasn’t four stars. Extra sunbeds are tucked away and you have to ask for them. When my wife asked, Peter said he was only doing it once and made a show of huffing and puffing. Another afternoon, with just six people around the pool, a couple came in for food and drinks. The moment the man put one leg in the pool, Peter ran over shouting at him to get out. I’d understand if it had been packed in the middle of the day, but there were only four of us and two other men there. You’re not even allowed to drink water unless it’s bought at the bar, yet I saw staff drinking coffee from the hub cafe every morning.

Our room was nice and renovated, and it was cleaned every morning. The reception stays open all the time, and the hotel is also good for children. The food was great, and the pool staff, especially Panos, Mateo and Joana, were kind, polite and helpful. We stayed for a week with family. The location is convenient for everything, though it’s not directly on the main street. The one drawback was the loud noise from the pool bar at night, since our room was close to it.
