There was a very large mix-up with the owner and booking agents, but as a family of four, we loved this place. The villa was amazing, and the view from my top balcony was incredible. The sunrise is a must-see if you’re willing to get up for it. I loved cooking on the built-in barbecue, and it really added to my holiday. The estate manager checked the pool twice a day without making us feel bothered. He offered to cook us barbecues, and even when we said no, he brought enough provisions for a couple of generous ones. The villa is a little off the beaten track, but the coast, restaurants and bars aren’t far, and there are plenty of markets for anything you need. Bassia is just down the road, with beautiful scenery and views, and food and service to match. You have to book there. Please go!

Each villa can sleep up to 10 people and has good-sized rooms. They’re fully furnished, with a cooker, washing machine and even a dishwasher, plus a decent-sized barbecue outside. You’ll need to get fuel from town. The villas are in a very private location, about a 10-minute walk from town, where there are lots of souvenir shops and food markets. Supermarket prices vary quite a bit, so it’s worth trying a few. The local butchers have excellent meat and make it to order, so don’t be put off if the shop looks empty, it’s all out the back waiting.

The worst experience ever. The maintenance worker complained that my two-year-old was using too much water at the pool. It costs 300€ per night, and they told me not to use too much water because it costs him money.
